LIBERAL ARTS: Jonathan Lethem, Eric Bogosian, Willie Nile May 1, 2005

LIBERAL ARTS, a new arts and culture program currently in development for Air America, tapes the second of two pilots in a live taping at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe.

Katherine Lanpher, veteran radio and print journalist and host of Air America's Al Franken Show, entertains authors, singer-songwriters and artists in an evening of conversation and performance.

Her guests on Sunday evening are Jonathan Lethem, who discusses his new nonficton book as well as his novels Motherless Brooklyn and The Fortress of Solitude; Eric Bogosian, who discusses his new novel; and rock-n-roller Willie Nile, who performs a few songs.

Admission is FREE, but donated books are always welcomed and encouraged.
