Les Sans Culottes has a vintage sound -- rich, tube amped tones, silly-sounding organs that deserve to support an episode of The Monkees and vocal harmonies that might bring an ironic tear to the eye if in the proper setting. The way the songs tend to break into a barrage of snare hits and sassy organ solos is impressive.
