Leonardogillesfleur: Video and Sculpture March 22, 2011

The artistic entity "leonardogillesfleur" is the resulting alliance of two artists, Leonardo Giacomuzzo and Gilles-fleur Boutry. Favoring ideas of the collective whole over notions of individual artistic identities, the work of leonardogillesfleur explores ideas of artistic production through collaboration.They refer to their work in the singular and, in fact, were awarded a Masters of Fine Arts under the name of their collective entity by the San Francisco Art Institute in 2004. The work straddles the genres of performance, video and sculpture.
