Steven Bach reveals the real person behind Leni Riefenstahl’s self-created myth. One of the most fascinating and controversial figures of the 20th century, Riefenstahl became known as “Hitler’s filmmaker” for her work, including Triumph of the Will and Olympia, which were hailed as masterpieces when they first appeared. But after WW II, these films destroyed her career and were no longer recognized as great art but condemned as Nazi propaganda.

Steven Bach, former studio executive, film historian and author of Final Cut and Leni: The Life and Work of Leni Riefenstahl.
