The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is pleased to announce, in conjunction with its Nathan Sawaya: The Art of the Brick exhibition, its’ LEGO® Creation Challenge.

All South Florida residents ages 6 and older, are invited to use their own LEGO® pieces to create and compete in this exciting community-based exhibition. Pieces will be displayed in the Center’s gallery and each participating group of entrants will be awarded prizes according to the contest’s categories.

Directions: Performances and master classes are held at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center at 1770 Monroe Street unless otherwise noted. From I-95, exit Pembroke Road, travel east one mile to US-1. At US-1 turn left (north), and travel 5 blocks to Monroe Street. Theater parking lot is on right. Parking is free. The parking lot gates are locked 30 minutes after each performance.

Creation Challenge exhibition runs: August 8 – 10, 2008
Awards presentation/reception: Sun., August, 10, 1 pm.
