Forgotten Transports is the centerpiece of the theater’s first film festival. Among the last living survivors featured in Forgotten Transports several 90 year old women will attend the Opening, traveling to New York from around the world for a reunion.

The Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College announces the North American premiere of the award-winning "Forgotten Transports" series, four films by Czech Director Lukas Pribyl, as part of the Legacy of Shoah festival on March 27 and 28, 2010.  Under the patronage of Vaclav Havel and Prince Karl von Schwarzenberg, the Festival’s Opening Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 7pm. All events will take place at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College, 899 Tenth Avenue, NYC. The Festival will also include Marion Wiesel’s "Children of the Night", and Alfred Radok’s "Distant Journey".
