Learn how to read and work with the tarot card tradition with gifted, experienced teachers. Treadwell's now offers a course which starts from the basics and progresses actively in a lively class. This is classic tarot, grounded in mystical symbolism and Qabalah as part of the journey into the cards. Students are given homework, handouts, and backup support. By the end of the course should be able to provide basic readings for others as well as be comfortable using the tarot as a springboard for meditation. Bring a Rider-Waite deck or similar. Diana Taylor has been reading tarot for 14 years following her training under a Western ceremonial tradition, and has continued her studies with teachers such as Rachel Pollack. She is committed to helping others find and express their true will, and recommends the tarot to gain understanding of life's dynamics. She aims to bring out the 'practical mystic,' and combines academic study of myth and history with informal intuitive practice. Eight Mondays, with breaks for bank holidays: 12 April, 19 April, 26 April, 10 May, 17 May, 24 May, 7 June, 14 June.
