Learn to Knit in A Day February 1, 2008

Participants explore basic knitting techniques such as the knit stitch, purling, cast-on, bind-off, working in two colors, decreasing and increasing, and reading basic patterns. Supplies include a set of needles, yarn, and a binder with beginner's patterns and resources. Start off the day with coffee and refreshments, take a break for lunch (provided) and complete several small projects. Bring some friends and discover how relaxing and rewarding creating your own hand knits can be!
