Lazarex Cancer Foundation's It's About Life Fundraising Gala October 18, 2008

Join us for "It's About Life," a fundraising dinner and auction gala and help change the face of cancer, one life at a time.
This upscale and elegant evening is black tie optional, with scrumptious food by Patrick David's. The gourmet dinner options include beef short ribs or vegetable Wellington. Top rate performers, and Beatles cover band, The Sun Kings, will entertain, and a fast-paced and exciting auction will feature vacations, original artwork, sporting events, jewelry and much more.

The evening's highlight is certain to be the inspirational messages from our cancer survivors. You will learn how Lazarex has worked together with these survivors, giving them the opportunity to receive new and promising treatments.

The mission of Lazarex Cancer Foundation is to revitalize cancer patients and their families with promising treatments, compassionate care, and comprehensive wellness products and services.

"Lazarex is dedicated to giving hope to cancer patients who've been told there is no hope. Together, with our supporters, we can direct these patients to new and promising treatments available through clinical trials. We provide them with financial assistance, as necessary, to ensure they have the resources needed to receive these treatments over an extended period of time," said Dana Dornsife, Lazarex Cancer Foundation President.

Last year, nearly 300 friends and supporters were on hand at our "Celebrating Hope" event, where we raised an amazing $300,000. The money raised was the key for many cancer patients to receive needed treatment. This year, we plan to meet or surpass that amount, and to achieve that goal, we have some amazing food and entertainment in store!
