-----------------------
Lautreamont Concerts is a dynamic ensemble composed of internationally renowned soloists. Formed in 2004 by violinist Steven Zynszajn with some of his closest colleagues from the Juilliard School, they have performed over forty programs to date throughout New York City, including concerts at the French Consulate, NY Historical Society, and a residency at the Chelsea Art Museum. Lautreamont Concerts offers programs of the sort one might have encountered in a golden era of classical music: a selection of solo works, chamber music and concerti for strings and piano, as well as transcriptions, tangos, and new works. They are also a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing their performances to healthcare facilities in New York, and to collaboration in the areas of music therapy and neurological research.
