On Saturday August 21 at 9:00PM, Big Like Ocean (the new group formed by Laura Thomas and Andy Dosmann) will play at San Francisco's Union Room, above Biscuits and Blues. Laura has previously captivated crowds at San Francisco venues like the Red Devil Lounge and Hotel Utah, but now she's coming back to town with Andy so that they can debut their new band. Big Like Ocean is an Americana duo, featuring an interactive male-female songwriting style reminiscent of groups like Postal Service, The XX, Horse Feathers, and Mates of State. Their crafty lyrics and powerhouse voices make for a kinetic show!
