Last Night of the Proms July 11, 2009

Alton Town Council present an outdoor summer concert in the lovely town centre Public Gardens. Featuring the town’s Alton Concert Orchestra, a programme of light popular classics and rousing patriotic scores.

A concert showing off the best of Alton's Musical Talent - Alton Concert Orchestra, Alton Community Choir and Alton Choral Society as well as a Junior Choir. All the favourite bits from Last Night of the Proms as well as the possibility of an exciting extravaganza to be announced ....!
