Lars has performed with such jazz greats as Phil Woods, Dave Samuels, Arturo Sandoval, Allen Vizzutti, Phil Wilson, Rob McConnell, and Steve Turre. His work as a composer/arranger has been performed, among others, by Jon Faddis, Kurt Elling, Bobby Shew, Ray Anderson and Rob McConnell.
