An ever consummate entertainer, Larry Lee Oppel has structured his re-entry to the music scene with boutique shows within the Boston area. Oppel, armed solely with his acoustic Taylor guitar, mixes his own repertoire with uncountable covers of Willie Nelson, K.T. Oslin, Dan Fogelberg, Guy Clark and Mickey Newbury.

In the era of merging rock, folk and country, Oppel’s talents were showcased in recording at the legendary Northstar Studio in Boulder, Colorado. The cosmic Dzintra Barry opened the door to Northstar, and the great ears of engineer Dwayne Scott, combined to make the Boulder days some of the best in Larry’s life. Northstar Studio provided Larry Lee Oppel with a window to the studio business, mixing sessions with music master Dan Fogelberg, Firefall, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and Flash Cadillac were great days, when Boulder was the music Mecca.

Larry Lee Oppel peppers his current songs with wry and salty life stories, pulled deep from the common well of emotion. An ever-expanding book of original songs digs into the heart and experience of a very experienced man. In his unique style, Larry Lee Oppel joins our memories with the joys of today.
