Lama Surya Das will be available for a question-and-answer session as well as book signing. Copies of his books will be available for sale at the event.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society, a Northampton-based nonprofit organization which offers contemplative retreats, workshops, and resources for social justice activists, lawyers, judges, community organizers, educators and other change-makers.

Lama Surya Das has spent more than 35 years studying with the great spiritual masters of Asia, including 15 years in India and the Himalayas and eight years in a cloistered Tibetan retreat. He is the author of several books, including the national bestseller Awakening the Buddha Within: Tibetan Wisdom for the Modern World.
