The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is inviting all of its closest friends to help celebrate its 40th birthday with an all-night birthday bash that kicks off Thursday, March 30 from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Party goers will enjoy live performances by N'dambi and Cava, DJ Suckapunch and The Internationalist, screenings of Academy Award Winning film CRASH and Art School Confidential, live painting and interactive art murals by EDER, book signings with Gris Grimly and photographer Larry Brownstein and of course, access to world-class art. The birthday celebration continues throughout the weekend with free admission Friday through Sunday during regular business hours. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample a variety of the museum's offerings from its permanent collection of fine art to live jazz in the courtyard, to storytelling in the galleries and fascinating lectures.
