"Dead people rule. William Shakespeare? Dead. Vincent Price? Dead. Rob Lowe? I'm pretty sure he's dead.

To prove this point, every so often a group of nighttime revelers get as disgusting as possible, dress up like zombies and drag their feet "Thriller"-style all over Hollywood in the (un)dead of night. The macabre march, dubbed "L.A. Zombie Walk," attracts scores of freaky Angelenos who have buckets of fake blood sitting around at home and nothing better to do on a Saturday night than to groan in unison.

Since they dripped their viscera through Hollywood and Vine last summer, we've been on the edge of our coffins waiting for news of the next one. We're pleased to report that Saturday, March 29, the group converges at one of the most frightening places in L.A.: the Sunset Strip. And you're invited.

Instructions are simple:

1. Die.
2. Rise from your grave.
3. Meet in front of the Key Club.
4. Amble very, very slowly through the streets of West Hollywood.
5. Return to your grave and/or blog about it the next day.

Meeting time is 5 p.m. in front of the Key Club, where the nice zombies might even help with your bloody-eye-socket makeup in exchange for a scoop of your brains. If you're late, perhaps you can follow the trail of gnawed, discarded bones.

Note: If staggering parade-like doesn't fully satisfy your craving for corpses, plan on attending the "Living Dead Fest" after-party at the Key Club, which is a mere $10 for the dead, but $15 for the living. (Brains not included.)"
