La Grande Fête: A Celebration of Haitian Culture September 12, 2009

This vibrant community event will celebrate Haitian arts, culture and cuisine. Jean Appolon and Nailah Bellinger will lead the crowd in Kompah (Haitian house dance) to the groove of a live Haitian band. Also on hand will be vendors selling Haitian food and social service organizations talking about the services they provide both locally and in Haiti.
