Music and laughter go hand-in-hand to lift our spirits! Discover the delight of Baroque music with Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra concertmaster Margaret Batjer and our virtuosos. Host Alan Chapman lets you in on the action onstage, all in the nature of good family fun! Gather around to enjoy this musical hit parade from the 18th century.

Drop in anytime from 1 to 2 pm for LACO’s Instrument Petting Zoo! Come try out your talents as a royal jester with the Kidspace Children’s Museum. Practice juggling with your own set of scarves and learn three new jokes to delight your friends and family. Spaces are limited; arrive early. Tickle that funny bone: local comedians conduct a comedy class for kids. Get your smile ready, and be prepared for some contagious laughter!

The concert features Margaret Batjer, leader & violin, Roland Kato, viola, Josefina Vergara, violin and Alan Chapman, host. The program includes Boyce Excerpts from Concerto Grosso in B-flat major, Geminiani Excerpts from Concerto Grosso in D minor, Op. 5, No. 12, “La Follia” (“The Folly”), Telemann Excerpts from Viola Concerto in G major and Bach Excerpts from Concerto in D minor for Two Violins, BWV 1043.
