Kode 9 is one of the most respected DJs and producers in the dubstep scene. He runs Hyperdub label as well as an online magazine of the same name. His musical virus is a constant mutation of Jamaican dub & dancehall, German microtechno, moody UK garage & drum'n'bass.

A resident DJ in rotation at the seminal Forward night at Plastic People, London; Kode 9 also hosts his “Forward Show” on pirate radio station Rinse FM regularly winining everyone’s approval. Asides bringing out tracks on his own label, he’s also signed tracks on Tempa and Rephlex. In addition, he works as a journalist for Deuce, XLR8R & Fact magazines.
