Sculptural forms become meditations on the fragments of conversation that can take place between cultures separated by great spans of time: relics left in the wake of complex civilizations which have peaked and declined; mechanical enigmas which could potentially illuminate the technologies of forgotten cultures. The pieces function as answers untethered from their original questions.
