Great comfort is found by many in the time-honored practices of knitting and crocheting. As a result of renewed interest in these favorite crafts, knitting circles have formed around the country, giving women a place to gather around a common interest. In this monthly group for women with cancer, women with no knitting background will learn from an experienced teacher, and women who already knit are welcome to join them. The knitting circle provides an opportunity to enjoy an activity together while spending time with other women who have experienced cancer.
