Sickles Lane
Kingsley, England

The village of Kingsley is once again holding it’s annual Fete in aid of the Kingsley Benefit Fund. It takes place at the Sports Ground in Sickles Lane, Kingsley on Sunday (30th August) from 2 o’clock.

There will be a children’s fancy dress competition in the garden of The Cricketers pub, Kingsley at 1.30pm and the children will then climb aboard Trigger The Train and form a procession to the fete, along the B3004 and down Sickles Lane, to open the fete at 1.45pm.

“We will have all the usual cake, bric-a-brac,games, BBQ, local produce, book and craft stalls at the fete. There will also be children’s races, together with face painting, and rides on “Trigger the Train”, said Kingsley Benefit Fund Chairman and fete organiser David Parrott. “We are hoping for some fantastic weather and looking forward to a great afternoon!”

All money raised at the fete goes to the Kingsley Benefit Fund, which is run by volunteer villagers and raises money for local organisations and facilities
