This Thursday, the Southbank will gently rock and groove to the best in Ska, Calypso, Roots, Rocksteady and Lover’s Rock. Hosted by Phil Wilding (BBC 6 Music, Mojo, The Old Queen’s Head) and Will Lord (Three Blind Mice, The Arches, Stereo) playing selections from artists like Phyliss Dillon, Prince Buster, Horace Andy, Lord Kitchener, Alton Ellis, The Skatalites and Mighty Sparrow among others.

This is the first of our new monthly appearances at Concrete. We'll be joined by a few special guests (including Phill Jupitus) along the way. Concrete's a lovely space in the Hayward Gallery. A great way to spend a summer's evening.
