Killing the Buddha: Tin Anniversary Spectacular December 7, 2010

This year, 'Killing the Buddha', the online magazine of religion, politics, and culture, turns ten. Time to party. It'll feature performances by friends of the magazine new and old, including Gangstagrass, Gabriel Kahane, Eugene Mirman, Eileen Myles, Rev. Osagyefo Uhuru Sekou, and others. There will also be Buddha-killer drink specials, 6-word testimonies, a DJ afterparty, and unmentionable surprises. KtB editor Quince Mountain (Worldwide College of Auctioneering Class of '96) will officiate over a live and silent auction. Please note, 'Killing the Buddha' will be hosting a cocktail hour and auction preview from 7:30 to 8:30. Donors who wish to attend that event will soon be able to pre-purchase VIP tickets from www.killingthebuddha.com. All proceeds from the night will go to Killing the Buddha, which has always depended on reader contributions.
