KidsFest 2007 June 1, 2007

A celebration of music, dance and hands-on art projects for kids. Features a non-stop entertainment lineup: The Slidell Skippers Jump Rope Exhibition Team will perform from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Javier Children’s Dance Troupe will perform from 4:30 to 5 p.m. and Papillion, the popular Cajun storyteller and musician, will be entertaining the kids in the gazebo from 5 to 6 p.m. The kids will also be creating flags from different countries that will be put on display for the upcoming Youth Symphony for United Nations concert. The first 200 children (ages 1 - 14) to register will receive a coupon for a free hot dog from A Touch of Italy Cafe and a free ice cream cone from Baskin-Robbins. Admission is free and all children must be accompanied by an adult during the event.
