Kidsemble III - Klezmer in Motion April 5, 2009

Quartsemble presents "Kidsemble III - Klezmer in Motion" with guest artist Robert DiLutis, clarinet, Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 2 pm at the Harley School, 1981 Clover St, Rochester. Admission is $5 per child with a maximum of $10 per family, and free tickets can be obtained in advance by emailing [email protected] or calling 224-8676 by March 31 and requesting "free Quartsemble tickets". Children and their families interact with the msucians before and after the performance, and will make simple instruments and learn to play them. During the performance, the audience will be invited to participate and play along with Quartsemble.

Kidsemble is a series of three performance/workshops for children ages 5-12 and their families. Each performance features a different guest artist and genre of music. Educator Terry Fonda Smith leads activities before and during the performance. Performances are free. Kidsemble is sponsored in part by the Harley School, the Eastman Community Music School and Quartsemble, Inc.
