Have old or broken jewelry that you no longer want but can't or won't throw away?

Want to help minimize the harmful impact mining precious metals has on the environment?

We invite you to get rid of clutter, be green, and support local community radio at the same time!

Bring your unwanted genuine gold, silver, and platinum rings, necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry to the Bling Fling and recycle it as a donation to benefit independent, community radio. Broken chains, old class rings, lonely earrings are all welcome (no costume jewelry). Donated jewelry will be sent to greenKarat, an ecologically responsible jewelry company that will recycle the metals into new jewelry. GreenKarat will send 80% of the current market value of the gold, sterling silver, or platinum from your donation to KGNU.

We will also have drinks, food, and new jewelry for sale (bring cash for the jewelry), auction items, entertainment, and door prizes. We request a $10 suggested donation at the door.
