KEVIN SCALZO Opening reception:
Friday October 24th Join the artist for a drink starting
at 8pm

Kevin Scalzo's latest group of work is focused on
themes of alienation and estrangement and how that has
been reflected in the anxiety of the current times.
Using elements of abstraction, cartoon imagery,
distortion,violent markings,and erasures, he creates
feelings of an impending doom.

His work has appeared in many publications such as
Beasts, Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Cartoons, & True Stories
Vol 2, BLAB! anthology, as well as numerous
galleries around the world. Scalzo's work has been seen
most recently in the BLAB! Shows at the Copro-Nason Gallery
in Santa Monica.

Kevin Scalzo, born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1969, was raised
in the United States, and currently lives and works in
Northampton, Massachusetts with his wife and daughter.

Secret Headquarters will have Kevin Scalzo's art work and copies
of his book Boiled Beef on display from
October 24th - November 24th, 2008.
