Kentucky Bluegrass Music Kickoff January 28, 2011

Held in early January at the Roby Dome, this event features a special guest headliner plus Gary "Biscuit" Davis, three-time national banjo picking champion who records with Dolly Parton and performs with her in her Christmas show in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and several guest performers.

The very special guest for KBMK ‘11 The Grascals! Plus, see the Kentucky Bluegrass Quilt Show, comedians The Moron Brothers are more.

"Come Play With Biscuit" is held on Friday night. Local groups plus The Hagar's Mountain Boys perform old favorites and other bluegrass musicians are invited to bring their favorite song for an opportunity to come on stage and perform with Davis. Workshops for musicians are held throughout Saturday morning and afternoon, conducted by Davis and other professionals.

The small stage will be available Saturday afternoon for jamming sessions.
