The Keep The Promise event will be taking to the streets of London on Saturday October 4th to raise awareness of the 3.9 million children living in poverty in the UK. The event is part of the End Child Poverty Campaign which brings together a coalition of over 130 members including the likes of Barnardo’s, Unicef, Save the Children, Shelter and NSPCC, and calls for more resources to help meet the Government promise to halve child poverty by 2010.

Keep The Promise is the UK's biggest ever event to end child poverty and will see thousands of campaigners march from Millbank, before making their way through Westminster to a family-friendly rally in Trafalgar Square to put public pressure on the Government to keep their commitment.
