KATIE COURIC | MONDAY JULY 17
Anchor, "CBS Evening News"; Former Co-host, "Today"

THE OUNCE THAT SAVES A LIFE
Couric seems to have reached the top of her game, having agreed to take the highly coveted TV anchor spot at "CBS Evening News." Couric follows in the footsteps of Dan Rather and the legendary Walter Cronkite. She has been the face Americans wake up to during her 15 years as co-host of "Today." After losing her husband to colon cancer, Couric now raises awareness about cancer prevention, sharing how education and community outreach save lives. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society and the Northern CA Cancer Center.
