Katherine Schell Benefit Performance with Opening Act Brandon Wiard November 17, 2005

Katherine Schell, the recipient of the 2005 International Song of the Year Award from VH1 Save the Music for ?Rest Assured,? will be performing a benefit concert for Special Days Camps. Fresh off a number of national appearances, Katherine Schell?s career continues to blossom on a personal platform that gives back volumes to Special Days Camps, a program benefiting children with cancer. Schell grew up in mid-Michigan where her younger brother, a cancer survivor, attended Special Days Camps. 100% of the proceeds from the concert?s ticket sales will benefit the Special Days Camps. The event will open with Ann Arbor?s own Brandon Wiard and feature a performance by Schell and her ensemble, the Emergency. ?Rest Assured,? is featured on Emptier Streets, Schell?s debut album set for full launch in March of 2006.
