Malam Mamane Barka is the last master of the biram, a holy instrument used by fishing nomads from Niger. Tonight, with percussionist Oumarou Adamou, he performs traditional songs that will transport you to the middle of the African lakes, evoking the sounds of fish jumping, birds singing and the tribespeople fishing with their hands.
