The Choral Societies from Birkenhead and Formby combine once again with boys from Merchant Taylors’ School in Crosby to present a spectacular performance of two outstanding centre-pieces of the 20th century. Pairing the dramatic and exciting exuberance of Belshazzar’s Feast with the ever-popular, powerful and poignant The Armed Man makes for a thrilling concert of contrast, celebrating the best of British choral music.
