The Forest Preserve District of Kane County currently owns approximately 380 parcels of land consisting of more than 16,000 acres. Currently, 56 sites are open to the public.

A long-range master plan is under way to envision and implement a desired growth plan for the district.

A balance of public input and district mission-driven goals will dictate the future growth of the Kane County Forest Preserves. For more information, call (630) 232-5980 or e-mail [email protected].
