Kaiju Big Battel : Riverside Rampage August 23, 2008

On August 23rd, the Gowanus Canal will be overrun by the legendary monsters of Kaiju Big Battel.

KBB is the world’s only live monster wrestling exhibition, featuring ludicrous monster-themed adversaries, hand-made costumes, over-sized monster-movie props, a towering “Danger Cage”, and dastardly wrestling-ring tactics. Fusing American pro-wrestling spectacle with Japanese comic book hysteria, Kaiju has been redefining low-brow entertainment for over 10 years.

As long-time fans of monsters and murky industrial waterways, MeanRed is excited to bring both together into one fantastic display of triumph and destruction.

For one day, and one day only, Kaiju Big Battel -- previously housed indoors at Webster Hall and Brooklyn warehouses -- will emerge into the daylight for a historical waterfront rampage.
