Kahurangi Maori Dance Theater of New Zealand October 15, 2008

The acclaimed Kahurangi Maori Dance Theater of New Zealand is the only professional Maori dance company touring North America. The performers are graduates from the Takitimu Performing Arts School in Hastings, New Zealand, the first accredited institution there to specialize in the instruction and preservation of the Maori performing arts. The group's interactive presentation will feature music, song, and dance from Tahiti and New Zealand.
