Attend a line up of economics and personal finance workshops led by the Council for Economic Education (formerly the National Council on Economic Education) at the California Council for the Social Studies Conference at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California on Friday, March 6th and Sunday, March 8th.
The workshops are designed to give teachers new classroom ideas and teaching strategies for implementing economics and personal finance concepts into their curriculum.
During the workshops teachers will explore print, technology and web-based resources highlighting concepts like free trade, comparative advantage, the new economic stimulus package and the government's role in the economy.
