Justin Hoover Performs at Wire+Nail April 15, 2011

Performance at 7pm
San Francisco-based artist and gallery director of SOMArts Justin Hoover will perform one night only a series of traditional Buddhist texts in costume while baptizing the audience with smoke and fire. For the show entitled, "Throwing Yourself Away," wall drawings will record Hoover's action in the space and one-off works will be available for purchase. The opening will take place on Friday April 15, 2011 from 6pm- 9pm, with a performance from 7pm to 8pm.
