Jumpstart's Read for the Record August 24, 2006

Jumpstart - a national non-profit that pairs preschool children with caring adults who work to foster that child's language, literacy and social skills - launches Read for the Record, which attempts to set the world record for the most children reading the same book on the same day, The Little Engine that Could.
Taking place at the Boston Children's Museum from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, the event includes free performances of The Little Engine that Could, learning stations fun and educational activities, and a comfy reading area where kids can set the record together.
