The Tampa Attractions Association is proud to host its 9th Annual Fireworks Celebration in the Channel District on July 4, 2010. The fireworks will be launched off a barge in the Garrison Channel at 9:00PM.

Experience one of the city’s favorite Fourth of July Celebrations with a front row view of our spectacular fireworks from Channelside Bay Plaza as well as the Florida Aquarium, American Victory Ship, Yacht Starship, Cotanchobee Park, the Marriott Waterside, Harbor Island, the St. Pete Times Forum, and Bayshore Boulevard. This exciting event is great way to gather up the family and head down to the Channel District where there is plenty of entertainment including $10 admission to the Florida Aquarium after 3pm, Family Funfest and Dragon Boat races aboard the American Victory Ship, free admission to the Tampa Bay History Center and so much more. Dining is available on the Yacht Starship, at the History Center's Columbia Cafe, or at one of Channelside Bay Plaza's unique and compelling restaurants. Channelside will also be hosting live music, fun, and of course fireworks at 9:00pm!

Parking will be available in Channelside, but spots will fill up quickly so event goers are encouraged to also utilize Tampa's TECO Line Streetcar. Another way to quickly get to the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration is the Selmon Expressway - the most efficient roadway for many in the Tampa community. What an exhilarating way to spend the 4th of July than experiencing all that downtown Tampa has to offer with this free, family friendly event!
