This is a
lecture/concert with great saxophonist/clarinetist Harvey Wainapel on
"Brazilian music from yesterday, today and tomorrow". We'll play a few
great choro standards, plus some new originals. One of the new pieces
is a premiere of Muvério Astróvio, and extended piece for piano and
clarinet which I composed for Harvey. Tickets $15 general/$10 seniors
& students; kids under 12 are free. On sale at the door starting at
6:30 pm. Cash only. Doors open at 7 pm.
