Jorge Vera: Urbanismo September 17, 2010

Jorge Vera is a photographer and visual artist based in Lima, Peru. Living in the Midwest from 1983 to 1992, Vera started capturing images of mostly empty suburbia and urban spaces and landscapes -- work that reflects his experience of isolation and alienation as a young self-exiled immigrant in the United States.
