Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge will perform such hits as 'Welcome My Love,' 'Blessed is the Rain,' 'Your Husband, My Wife' and 'The Worst That Could Happen.' Among today's great vocal pop musicians, Kenny Vance and The Planotones have voices of original and inviting dimension. The group redefines oldies with vocal authority and freshness. Their material is influenced by the music of the '50s and '60s, and they consistently bring a unique and musically sophisticated point of view to the ever changing musical landscape. It was more than 30 years after the debut of their first big hit, 'Tonight I Fell In Love,' when they re-emerged on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart in August of 1994, following the re-release of their chart topping single, 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight.' With that re-entry comes the distinction of having the second-longest chart span in the rock era.

The description fails to note that it was the Tokens who had a hit with "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". A good lineup for an oldies concert, especially with Johnny Maestro and The Brooklyn Bridge as headliners. They're the greatest!
