A hardcore head from back in the day whose been doing it longer thanmany current scensters have been alive. Which isn't to say that he is old-that's hardly the case. It's just that the music bug bit Johnny Fiasco at a very tender age, which is hardly unusual in the beat-filled streets of Chicago.
Soaking up the exploding Chicago acid house sound of the mid-80's along with electronic innovations ranging from UK pioneers toNew Order to local industrialists Ministry, it wasn't long before he took the decks and beganhis many DJ residencies throughout the Windy City. Spinning alongsidecontemporaries Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Diz, and GeneFarris, Fiasco helped put clubs like Red Dog, Smart Bar, and the legenday Shelter on the city's musical map.
Today Fiasco logs countless frequent flier miles spinning at clubs and parties from Japan to Spain to practically every major city in America. His remix resume' is both extensive and impressive, with one of the latest being a dance-floor rework of Justin Timberlake's smash single "Cry Me A River".
