John Shannon is an American modern folk guitarist, vocalist and composer. He has played with singers like Haale, Pyeng Threadgill, Sonya Kitchell and Hiromi and has also recorded three albums as the leader of the instrumental jazz fusion trio Waking Vision. In 2008 he released his debut album as a solo artist, 'American Mystic.'
