John McCutcheon and Carsie Blanton perform at Bryn Mawr Twilight Concerts

John McCutcheon:
From such inauspicious beginnings, John McCutcheon has emerged as one of our most respected and loved folksingers. As an instrumentalist, he is a master of a dozen different traditional instruments, most notably the rare and beautiful hammer dulcimer. His songwriting has been hailed by critics and singers around the globe. His twenty-four recordings have garnered every imaginable honor, including five Grammy nominations.

Carsie Blanton:
A devotee of folk music from the womb, Carsie later acquired a taste for Jazz, R&B, Motown, and blues, and cobbled them together elegantly to create her own brand of musical shenanigans, which she released in the form of her first album, "Hush", at the tender age of sixteen. In 2005, Carsie released "Ain't So Green", her first studio album, which she now tours the east coast toting boxes of.
