The Grand Finale of the 2010 Summer Solstice Jazz Festival Joe Lovano Us Five is a Jazz event that is not to be missed!

Grammy-winning saxophonist/composer Joe Lovano is known for his fearless ability to push the conceptual and thematic choices he makes in a quest for new modes of artistic expression and new takes on what defines the jazz idiom. With Us Five Joe Lovano has brought together a dynamic new ensemble that collectively breathes a youthful exuberance into his own original compositions. Us Five features James Weidman on piano, Esperanza Spalding on bass, and Otis Brown III and Francisco Mela on drums and cymbals.
