The Williamsburg Library Theatre is the place to be if you want to hear good music next weekend. Reservations or tickets are not required for this free concert, which is presented as part of the library's Dewey Decibel Concert Series.

On Friday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m., Jimmy Masters' Other Borders will feature a quartet of talented, musicians playing a variety of jazz styles. Other Borders includes guitarist Trey Pollard, Daniel Clarke on piano and Robbie Sinclair, drums. Bassist Jimmy Masters leads the group. Jimmy has performed at the Library with Bill Gurley and Steven Bennett, Cyrus Chestnut, Charlie Byrd and many others.

The concert is being held in conjunction with Williamsburg Regional Library's "Looking At: Jazz," a free, video discussion series that explores the cultural and social history of jazz as it developed as an art form in the United States.
